    With the Passing of time the myth of stability and sacredness of marriage bond is gradually wither away , and hence, the increasing ratio of matrimonial litigation all over the country confirms such situation. Matrimonial laws were evolved to protect the rights of the spouses, but it is also true that law cannot enter into the bedroom of individuals. However, the personal law as a subject therefore, has to be understood in the perspective of social conditions.
