dc.descriptionThe scope of the study is primarily concerned with the socio-legal and ethical scenario of surrogacy in India and the national framework for the same. The research is mainly confined to the current surrogacy legislation in India and whether there are any gaps in the legislation or not, since India did not have a concrete surrogacy legislation for a long time. The Indian Judiciary’s contribution to the regulation of surrogacy is also studied in an in-depth manner.
