E-commerce in India, examining the critical competition law challenges that have emerged with its rapid expansion. At its core, the study investigates how prevailing practices such as predatory pricing, deep discounting, and exclusive agreements by dominant online platforms distort market conditions, thereby jeopardizing fair competition and the survival of small businesses and traditional retailers. By highlighting these complex market behaviors, this research underscores the pressing need for robust regulatory interventions to ensure an equitable and competitive digital marketplace.
