The scope of the current study shall be limited to examining the study to delve into the legal frameworks governing citizenship in India, exploring constitutional provisions and judicial interpretations, with a focus on their application and implications in the Northeastern context. Additionally, the scope extends to the analysis of contemporary citizenship controversies and challenges, such as those related to migration, identity documentation, and legal disputes, within the socio-legal framework.
